VIDEO EDITOR

At MUTO, we are on the lookout for a skilled and creative video editor to join our crew. As a collective of industry veterans specializing in identity, web, video, and industrial design, we maintain a close-knit team to ensure consistently premium design products. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Plan and edit video content for a variety of client projects, including social videos, testimonials, interviews, event coverage, and educational videos.
- Collaborate with the internal MUTO team to understand project objectives, develop creative concepts, and execute video productions that align with brand guidelines and messaging.
- Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording devices, and accessories, to capture high-quality footage in various environments and settings.
- Conduct post-production tasks, including video editing, color grading, audio mixing, and adding visual effects or motion graphics as needed.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, cohesive video content that meets project requirements, deadlines, and quality standards
- Manage and organize video assets, including file management, archiving, and backup procedures, to ensure efficient workflow and accessibility.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in videography and video editing, and incorporate new techniques and tools into productions as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Videographer/Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your videography and editing skills across a range of projects and styles.
- Bring an understanding of brand and how that informs campaign creation and development.
- Demonstrate an appreciation, literacy, and passion for design, and be able to translate that into the design product.
- Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects.
- Familiarity with other design tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong storytelling abilities and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to convey narrative arcs, emotions, and messages through video content.
- Creative focus and attention to detail, with the ability to bring ideas to life visually and enhance video content with compelling visuals, transitions, and effects.
