TUCCI had ambitions of making the move from a traditional wood bat company to a full, high-tech batter equipment provider and needed an identity and launch package to match. TUCCI partnered with MUTO to build out their brand identity, strategy and positioning, and build premium visuals for their recent launch.
MUTO developed a strategy to help TUCCI maintain a heritage of a premium wood bat company, while ushering a new era of high-tech products.
At the core of the project was developing the visual identity. This started with the optimization of their iconic logo, one that has built powerful equity with TUCCI’s core MLB player audience over the past 10 years.
With the logo tuned up we complimented it with an all-new logotype, corporate font spec, patterns, and a palette that elevated the brand above its competition. Last not no least was developing a tagline that communicated the pro player soul, the integrity of the product, and the fact that the product has been tested at the highest level in the MLB; PRO-CRAFTED & DIAMOND-TESTED.

An authentic, yet stylized approach was what drove the creation of the new TUCCI look and feel.
As a piece of a larger e-commerce ecosystem, the TUCCI site was designed and developed as part a custom shared cart leveraged by TUCCI’s parent company, Certor Sports.
